subpart q - DETERMINATIONS OF DISABILITY
404.1681 - Disputes on matters other than substantial failure.
Disputes concerning monetary disallowances will be resolved in proceedings before the Department of Health and Human Services' Departmental Appeals Board if the issue cannot be resolved between us and the State. Disputes other than monetary disallowances will be resolved through an appeal to the Commissioner of Social Security, who will make the final decision. (See 404.1627.) [56 FR 11021, Mar. 14, 1991]
