35.720 - Purpose.
(a) Purpose of section. Sections 35.720 through 35.725 govern hazardous waste program grants to eligible Tribes and Intertribal Consortia under the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Housing and Urban Development, and Independent Agencies Appropriations Act, 1999, Pub.L. 105276, 112 Stat. 2461, 2499; 42 U.S.C. 6908a (1998).
(b) Purpose of program. Tribal hazardous waste program grants are awarded to assist Tribes and Intertribal Consortia in developing and implementing programs to manage hazardous waste.
