2552.71 - What requirements govern the assignment of Foster Grandparents?
Foster Grandparent assignments shall: (a) Provide for Foster Grandparents to give direct services to one or more eligible children. Foster Grandparents cannot be assigned to roles such as teacher's aides, group leaders or other similar positions that would detract from the person-to-person relationship.
(b) Result in person-to-person supportive relationships with each child served.
(c) Support the development and growth of each child served.
(d) Be meaningful to the Foster Grandparent.
(e) Be supported by appropriate orientation, training and supervision.
