Appendix C to Part 231 - Sample Certificate of Compliance for Credit Unions Certificate of Compliance

I, (name), Chairman of the Board of Directors or President of the (credit union), located at (place), certify that this credit union complies with the requirements of section 170 of the Federal Credit Union Act (12 U.S.C 1770), for the allotment of space in federal buildings without charge for rent or services. The provision of no-cost office space is limited to credit unions if at least 95 percent of the membership to be served by the allotment of space is composed of individuals who are, or who were at the time of admission into the credit union, military personnel or federal employees, or members of their families. ____________________ (Date) ____________________ (Name) (Chairman of the Board of Directors or the President) Note: The Certificate of Compliance shall be written on credit union letterhead.
