PART 1352 - SOLICITATION PROVISIONS AND CONTRACT CLAUSES

1352.217 - 98 - Discharge of liens.

As prescribed in 1317.7001(a), insert the following clause: Discharge of Liens (CAR 1352.21798) (JAN 1987) The Contractor shall immediately discharge or cause to be discharged any lien or right in rem of any kind, other than in favor of the Government, which at any time exists or arises in connection with work done or materials furnished under any contract hereunder with respect to the machinery, fittings, equipment or materials for any of the vessels. If any such lien or right in rem is not immediately discharged, the Government may discharge or cause to be discharged such lien or right at the expense of the Contractor.
