Subpart L: Fire Suppression Assistance
206.392 - Request for assistance.When a Governor determines that fire suppression assistance is warranted, a request for assistance may be initiated. Such request shall specify in detail the factors supporting the request for assistance. In order that all actions in processing a State request are executed as rapidly as possible, the State may submit a telephone request to the Regional Administrator, promptly followed by a confirming telegram or letter.
