9.500 - Scope of subpart.
This subpart: (a) Prescribes responsibilities, general rules, and procedures for identifying, evaluating, and resolving organizational conflicts of interest; (b) Provides examples to assist contracting officers in applying these rules and procedures to individual contracting situations; and (c) Implements section 8141 of the 1989 Department of Defense Appropriation Act, Pub. L. 100463, 102 Stat. 227047 (1988).
