subpart j - VOLUNTARY LEAVE BANK PROGRAM

630.1001 - Purpose and applicability.

  (a) Purpose. The purpose of this subpart is to establish procedures and requirements for a voluntary leave bank program under which the unused accrued annual leave of an employee may be contributed to a leave bank for use by a leave bank member who needs such leave because of a medical emergency.

  (b) Applicability. This subpart applies to officers and employees (1) To whom subchapter I of chapter 63 of title 5, United States Code applies; and (2) Who are employed in agencies and their organizational subunits operating a voluntary leave bank program under this subpart.
