101 - 26.201 - General.

This requisitioning and issue system is identified as the Federal Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (FEDSTRIP) and is similar to and compatible with the Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP). The FEDSTRIP system provides GSA and other supply sources the means to automate the processing of requisitions. Detailed instructions required to implement FEDSTRIP are contained in the GSA Handbook, FEDSTRIP Operating Guide (FPMR 10126.2), which is issued and maintained by the Commissioner, Federal Supply Service, GSA.
